Job summary

Example Recruitment Group is recruiting on behalf of a national heating contractor for a Gas Engineer position in Lincoln. The role covers landlord CP12 checks, fault finding, and repairs on central heating systems with a strong focus on customer service.

You will ensure compliance with health and safety, conduct risk assessments, and maintain COSHH records as part of day-to-day duties. The package includes a 40-hour week, overtime, van and tools, and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Qualified gas/heating engineer with 2 years' experience.
• Experience servicing boilers and gas appliances; strong fault-finding/diagnostic skills.
• ACS qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1.
• Full UK driving licence; DBS check on offer.

Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established national heating contractor operating within the local authority sector.

The Role:

• Landlord Gas Safety Checks (CP12s)
• Fault finding and repairs on central heating systems.
• Providing high levels of customer care when dealing with tenants and clients
• Ensure all Health & Safety requirements and legislation are followed including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records

Requirements:

• 2 years' experience as a qualified gas/heating engineer
• Experience in servicing boilers, and gas appliances as well as strong fault-finding/diagnostic and repair skills.
• ACS qualifications incl. CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1
• Full UK Driving Licence
• No unspent criminal convictions (DBS Check to be carried out on offer of employment)

The Package:

• 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
• Overtime paid at hourly rate
• Van, tools, PPE/uniform, and PDA provided.
• Salary: £42,000 - £44,000 per annum (DOE)
• Out of Hours call out on rota basis. Paid either on price per job or hourly decided by engineer
