Job summary

Waythrough is a major mental health and social support charity operating across England. We are seeking a passionate Complex Needs Practitioner to join the Gambling service, delivered in partnership with Aquarius Action Projects and other partners, to support adults affected by gambling and help them achieve positive outcomes.

You will work across varied settings, providing person-centred support, developing recovery plans, and coordinating with voluntary and statutory agencies.

Qualifications

• Understanding drug, alcohol, offending and health issues.
• Experience or willingness to work towards NVQ Level 3.
• Experience supporting adults with addictions or complex needs.
• Strong communication and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to adults affected by gambling.
• Develop and review recovery and support plans.
• Carry out assessments and ongoing case management.
• Support clients to reduce harm and improve wellbeing.
• Collaborate with partner agencies and health professionals.
• Maintain accurate case records and documentation.
