Waythrough is seeking an Outreach Practitioner to join the Gambling Prevention Team in West Mercia. You will deliver outreach, assessments and person-centred interventions to adults and young people affected by gambling harm and work with partners to improve access to support.

The role emphasizes compassionate, non-judgemental support, safeguarding and keeping accurate case records. Willingness to travel and a full driving licence are desirable.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in gambling support or related health and social care settings.
• Strong safeguarding and person-centred approaches to support.
• Experience engaging with diverse communities and partner agencies.
• Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills, with accurate record-keeping.

• Deliver outreach, assessments and personalised interventions for individuals affected by gambling harm across community and partner settings.
• Build trusted relationships to encourage sustained engagement with support services.
• Collaborate with health professionals, local authorities and voluntary organisations for coordinated support.
• Promote awareness of gambling-related harm through outreach and community engagement.
• Provide training to professionals and deliver workshops.
• Maintain accurate case records, manage risk and uphold safeguarding and confidentiality.
