Job summary

Waythrough is seeking an Outreach Practitioner for the Gambling Prevention Team, based in West Mercia. You will deliver outreach, assessments and person-centred interventions to adults and young people affected by gambling-related harm, working with diverse communities and partner organisations to improve access to support.

Qualifications

• Experience in gambling support or related health and social care settings.
• Understanding of safeguarding and person-centred approaches.
• Ability to engage with diverse communities and partners.
• Strong communication, organisational and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outreach, assessments and personalised interventions in community and partner settings.
• Build trusted relationships to encourage engagement with support services.
• Collaborate with health professionals, local authorities and voluntary organisations.
• Promote awareness of gambling-related harm through outreach and partnership work.
• Provide training and deliver workshops.
• Maintain accurate case records and manage safeguarding and confidentiality.
