Job summary

Waythrough is recruiting a Hotspot Complex Needs Practitioner to deliver targeted outreach and case management across hotspot locations in the West Midlands. You’ll engage people affected by gambling harm, partner with local organisations and provide person-centred support in community settings.

You’ll apply evidence-based approaches (CBT, MI) and recovery-focused practice, manage a varied caseload and help develop services while working flexibly on a permanent, 37-hour week role.

Qualifications

• Experience working within gambling support, substance misuse, mental health or another health and social care setting.
• Experience supporting people with complex needs and managing a varied caseload.
• Knowledge of evidence-based interventions including CBT, MI and recovery-focused practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver proactive outreach within identified hotspot communities.
• Build relationships with community organisations and referral partners.
• Manage a caseload of individuals requiring intensive support.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions and recovery planning.
• Increase awareness of gambling-related harm through engagement activities.
• Promote access to treatment and wider support services.
