OurCoop is seeking a Conducting Funeral Assistant to lead and arrange funerals, ensuring a high-quality client journey across our sites. The role supports the funeral strategy and helps deliver industry-leading service.

Responsibilities include leading bearer teams, coaching staff, conducting funerals to high standards, and participating in community activities. A full UK driving licence and DBS check are essential, with standby/on-call rota regularly required.

• Planning and organising skills to ensure effective multi-site coverage.
• Strong communication and engagement with clients.
• Ability to stay calm in challenging situations.

Responsabilités

• Lead and support bearer team on funeral day.
• Coach and develop colleagues’ knowledge.
• Conduct funerals to ensure high standards of delivery.
• Lead and participate in community activities.
• Ensure health and safety compliance by bearer team on funeral day.
• Attend local forums to build network with funeral directors.
• Oversee daily running of funeral home including arranging and back-office tasks.
• Participate in standby and on-call rota.
