Job summary

CTRG is hiring a Funeral Care Centre Assistant in Gravesend (DA12 2PG). The role involves preparing coffins, cleaning vehicles, handling floral tributes and supporting front-line Funeralcare operations. A full UK manual driving licence is required, with office hours Monday to Friday.

You will work as part of a team, ensuring health and safety standards are met and maintaining a respectful, compassionate approach in all interactions.

Responsibilities

• Clean Funeralcare vehicles daily, including polish and wax routine.
• Move ceremonial vehicles within Care Centre grounds (no public road driving).
• Assist in general housekeeping and report maintenance to a manager.
• Fully prepare all types of coffins.
• Handle floral tributes with care.
• Report to the Care Logistics Management team and follow instructions.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and checks.
