Job summary

Co-op Funeralcare in Watford is hiring a Funeral Arranger on a part-time basis (20 hours per week). The role pays £13.47 per hour plus benefits and involves various duties to support families and manage funeral arrangements with professionalism and care.

Full training and ongoing support are provided. You will build relationships, assist clients, maintain a respectful environment, and use digital systems for documentation and invoicing.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to work with numbers for cash handling and invoicing.
• Attention to detail to follow regulatory policies.
• Good IT skills and comfort with multiple devices and apps.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive client relationships.
• Assist clients in person and over the phone with funeral arrangements.
• Keep the funeral home clean, safe and welcoming; report maintenance issues.
• Use digital systems to manage client documentation and invoicing.
• Ensure regulated work is referred to the Funeral Plan Arrangers.
• Assist with physical tasks and preparation of the deceased with training.
