The Opportunity:

We're seeking a highly connected, results-driven Fundraising Consultant with a proven track record of helping startups close pre-seed to Series A rounds. You'll be the architect of our fundraising strategy, leveraging your investor network, refining our pitch, and driving deals to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop & Execute Fundraising Strategy – Identify and target the right VCs/angels for AfriPay's stage and sector
• Investor Outreach & Warm Intros – Leverage your personal network to secure high-value meetings
• Pitch Deck & Financial Storytelling – Polish our narrative, financial models, and due diligence materials
• Deal Negotiation & Closing – Advise on term sheets, valuations, and investor negotiations
• Run a Structured Fundraising Process – Manage timelines, follow-ups, and investor pipelines

Who We're Looking For:

• Proven experience raising $500K-$5M+ from VCs and angel investors (FinTech/EdTech experience a huge plus)
• Strong investor Rolodex – Existing relationships with early-stage VCs, angel networks, and family offices
• Exceptional pitch-crafting skills – Ability to turn complex ideas into compelling investor narratives
• Data-driven approach – Comfortable with financial modeling, cap tables, and due diligence prep
• Hustle mentality – You thrive in a fast-moving startup environment and can drive results independently
