Job Description:

Are you a Marketing & Comms expert with a flair for driving exciting, fast-paced change in the charity sector? Keen to deliver a high-impact diagnostic in a 2-day challenge?

Bring your experience to this small but ambitious charity seeking a sharp, inquisitive interim consultant to help shape the future of its marketing, fundraising, and communications function.

The Role:

Looking to explore fundraising, digital engagement, or income through wider supporter communities, this organisation is ready to review its function and implement change based on your recommendations.

With a small team, they're seeking an experienced professional to:

  • Review the current function, people, tools, and channels (socials, web, CRM)
  • Diagnose gaps and opportunities
  • Deliver actionable recommendations for both quick wins and long-term transformation
  • Explore how to open new income channels
  • Inform a June Board meeting that will reshape the organisation’s engagement strategy

What you’ll bring:

  • Deep experience in charity marketing, fundraising, and comms (especially in small-to-medium orgs)
  • Ability to design or refine marcomms and fundraising functions—people, process, platforms
  • Hands-on diagnostic and review skills—curious, insightful, and practical
  • Confidence in advising on supporter journeys, omnichannel comms, and income development
  • A “warts-and-all” understanding of what good looks like—and how to build it without over-engineering
