Job summary

Aspire People is seeking a Full-Time Teaching Assistant (TA) in the B45 area to start ASAP. You will support pupils within the classroom, work closely with the class teacher to bolster learning, and provide 1:1 or small group assistance as needed.

Ideal candidates will have experience in education or child settings, a positive proactive attitude, strong communication skills, a DBS (Enhanced) or willingness to obtain one, and the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is desirable.
• Positive, proactive, and adaptable attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils within the classroom environment.
• Working closely with the class teacher to support learning and development.
• Providing 1:1 and small group support where required.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and pupil engagement.
• Assisting with classroom preparation and daily routines.
