Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking qualified Supply Teachers to support primary schools across Wellingborough in Northamptonshire. You can work from day-to-day to long-term placements with flexible start dates and locations within Wellingborough and surrounding areas.

Role involves delivering lessons, supporting EYFS to KS2 pupils, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and adapting quickly to different schools and policies.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS, QTLS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting.
• Confident managing classroom behaviour and maintaining high expectations.
• Able to adapt quickly to new schools, year groups and classroom environments.
• Reliable, punctual, professional and approachable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons using school-provided plans and resources.
• Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Maintain a calm, safe and positive classroom environment.
• Manage behaviour in line with school expectations.
• Adapt to different classes, year groups and school environments.
• Follow lesson plans and adapt activities where appropriate.
• Encourage pupil engagement and motivation throughout the day.
• Support pupils' learning, progress and wellbeing.
• Follow safeguarding procedures.
• Provide feedback to the regular class teacher when required.

What You'll Be Doing
