Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking a qualified Supply Teacher for Kettering, Northamptonshire. Roles available full-time or part-time with immediate start, delivering pre-planned lessons across EYFS to KS2.

No planning or marking required, with support from welcoming primary schools and Tradewind consultants. QTS is essential, and candidates should have UK primary teaching experience, strong behaviour management, and good knowledge of the National Curriculum.

Qualifications

• QTS is essential and you have prior UK primary school experience.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Confident delivering lessons across the primary age range.
• Good knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
• Experience supporting pupils with additional needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Ensure pupils are engaged, supported and motivated throughout the school day.
• Maintain a positive learning environment and high behaviour expectations.
• Follow school planning and ensure lessons are delivered effectively.
• Adapt activities where necessary to meet the needs of individual pupils.
• Support pupils with SEND and additional learning needs.
• Work alongside teaching assistants and other school staff.
• Provide feedback to the class teacher where required.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures.
• Adapt confidently to different classrooms and school environments.

Are you a qualified Primary Teacher looking for a full‑time or part‑time teaching opportunity without the additional workload of planning and marking? Tradewind Recruitment are working with a number of welcoming primary schools across Kettering who are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and adaptable Supply Teachers to join their teams.

This is a great opportunity for teachers who enjoy being in the classroom and want the flexibility of supply teaching, with the option to work either full‑time or part‑time depending on your availability.

• Previous experience teaching in a UK primary school
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Confident delivering lessons across the primary age range
• Good knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
• Experience supporting pupils with additional needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, flexible and adaptable
• Able to quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Passionate about supporting children's learning and development
• Available for either full‑time or part‑time work
