Job summary

Protocol Education is recruiting a Learning Support Mentor for a Secondary School in Epping Forest. The role is the 8:30am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday, long-term with potential to go permanent.

Responsibilities include supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups, assisting those with SEND/SEMH to access learning and stay safe throughout the day. Ideal candidates bring empathy, reliability, and a proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths & English or equivalent, plus a SEND-related qualification.
• Demonstrated empathy, reliability and a proactive attitude.
• Able to work calmly with pupils with additional needs and challenging behaviours.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils 1:1, in small groups or class settings.
• Help students access learning and build independence.
• Collaborate with staff to support pupils with SEND/SEMH.
