Wolseley Group is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Chesterfield to lead a warehouse team and deliver high-performance operations. The role focuses on coaching staff, ensuring safe, efficient fulfilment, and maintaining service levels.

You will drive KPI improvements, handle employee relations, and support continuous improvement initiatives while working a full-time schedule on site.

Responsibilities

• Leading, coaching and developing a team of colleagues to deliver a high-performing, engaged and accountable working culture.
• Managing daily warehouse and fulfilment operations, ensuring workloads are planned effectively and service levels are consistently achieved.
• Driving compliance, health & safety standards and operational checks across the site.
• Monitoring and improving KPIs across multiple customer streams, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and performance.
• Managing people processes including absence management, performance reviews, 1-2-1s and employee relations matters.

This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, operating on a rotating weekly shift pattern. Shift patterns will be discussed in the interview.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Supervisor, Team Leader or Operations Management role within a warehouse, logistics or fulfilment environment.
• Strong people management experience, with the ability to lead from the front and develop high-performing teams.
• Experience handling employee relations matters, absence management, performance conversations and colleague development.
• A proactive and resilient approach with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• A passion for driving operational excellence, safety standards and continuous improvement.
