Job summary

Fusion Utilities, part of the Wolseley Group, is hiring an Operations Supervisor for our Chesterfield fulfilment centre. You will lead a team, plan workloads, and ensure safety and service levels are met across multiple customer streams.

The role requires strong people management, a proactive mindset and excellent organisational skills to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervisor, team leader or operations management within a warehouse/logistics environment.
• Strong people management and front-line leadership abilities.
• Experience handling absence management and performance conversations.

We also promote positive health and wellbeing through free healthcare support, our YuLife app, Cycle to Work scheme and much more. **As an Operations Supervisor based in our Fulfilment centre (H29) in Chesterfield, you'll be responsible for:** * Leading, coaching and developing a team of colleagues to deliver a high-performing, engaged and accountable working culture.* Managing daily warehouse and fulfilment operations, ensuring workloads are planned effectively and service levels are consistently achieved.* Driving compliance, health & safety standards and operational checks across the site.* Monitoring and improving KPIs across multiple customer streams, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and performance.* Managing people processes including absence management, performance reviews, 1-2-1s and employee relations matters. This is a full-time, permanent role working **40 hours per week, Monday to Friday**, operating on a rotating weekly shift pattern. Shift patterns will be discussed in the interview. **And here's what we'd like you to have:** * Previous experience in a Supervisor, Team Leader or Operations Management role within a warehouse, logistics or fulfilment environment.* Strong people management experience, with the ability to lead from the front and develop high-performing teams.* Experience handling employee relations matters, absence management, performance conversations and colleague development.* A proactive and resilient approach with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.* A passion for driving operational excellence, safety standards and continuous improvement.
