Job summary

Pipe and Climate Centre in Sheffield is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our team. You will perform general warehouse duties, pick and pack goods, load/unload vehicles, and assist customers at the trade counter with product advice.

This full‑time role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00 with a 1‑hour break. You should be reliable, accurate and able to work quickly to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience working with customers.
• Experience working in a warehouse.
• Able to work quickly and accurately to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• General Warehouse duties.
• Picking and packing items to fulfil customer requirements which will involve manual handling of heavy items.
• Loading/unloading vehicles safely.
• Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing advice and product recommendations.
• Ensuring that all incoming deliveries comply with the delivery paperwork, handle discrepancies appropriately and put stock away in the warehouse.
