Job summary

Thames Water is seeking an Operations Process Technician to join our frontline team serving the Bourton-on-the-Water area. You will help run sites safely, monitor equipment, and maintain performance to protect the environment and ensure a continuous water supply.

Working Monday–Friday, 38 hours per week with an on-call rota for additional payments. No water-industry background is required; comprehensive training and ongoing support are provided to help you develop skills and grow with us.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• Willing to work outdoors, in all weather conditions.
• Able to work 38 hours per week on a rota including occasional weekends.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
• IT-literate with ability to input data on handheld devices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure sites are running safely, efficiently and within permitted specifications.
• Monitor, inspect, and maintain equipment; report defects and attempt first-time fixes.
• Own health and safety by escalating concerns and following proper procedures.
• Collate and report data to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance.
• Work weekends on a rotation (roughly 1 weekend every 6 weeks).
