Job summary

Thames Water Utilities Limited is seeking an Operations Process Technician to join the frontline team covering the Cotswolds from Bourton-on-the-Water STW. The role focuses on monitoring, inspecting, and maintaining equipment to keep wastewater operations safe, efficient and compliant.

Working pattern is Monday–Friday 7:30–15:36 (38 hours/week) with a call-out rota, and full training will be provided to support your development in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience delivering against challenging upper-quartile targets and performance commitments.
• Builds and maintains effective internal and external relationships to a high standard.
• Ability to influence and drive the right culture and behaviours.
• Excellent customer service.
• Excellent communication skills.
• IT literate.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring sites are running safely, efficiently and within permitted site specifications to protect the environment.
• Monitoring, inspecting, and maintaining equipment and reporting defects for swift repair or first-time fix where possible.
• Take ownership of health and safety and escalate concerns to management when needed.
• Collating and reporting data to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance.
• On full pattern, work 1 weekend every 6 weeks.
