Job summary

Thames Water is recruiting a Process Technician to join our frontline operations team at Bourton-on-the-Water STW. You will help ensure wastewater treatment works operate safely and efficiently to protect the environment and supply customers.

The role is 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a call-out rota and additional payment. Full training is provided, and a range of benefits supports wellbeing and security.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Experience delivering against challenging targets and performance commitments.
• Ability to build and maintain effective internal and external relationships to a high standard.
• Ability to influence and drive the right culture and behaviours.
• Positive approach to handling changes including technology, processes, and organisational change.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service both internally and externally.
• IT literate.
• Team player across multiple teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure sites are running safely, efficiently and within permitted site specifications to protect the environment.
• Monitor, inspect, and maintain equipment; report defects and aim for first-time fixes where possible.
• Take ownership of health and safety and escalate or resolve concerns with the manager.
• Collate and report data to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance.
• On full working pattern you will work 1 weekend every 6 weeks.
