Job summary

Thames Water Utilities Limited is seeking an Operations Process Technician to join the frontline team covering the Cotswolds area, based at Cirencester STW. The role involves guarding safety, monitoring equipment, data reporting, and on-call duties as part of a 38-hour week.

The position requires adaptability to all weather conditions, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to work within a demanding rota. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are provided by Thames Water.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working outdoors, potentially in all weather conditions.
• Prepared to work within the rota of a 7-day working week and standby rota.
• Part of a team that delivers targets and performance commitments.
• Good sense of humour and not squeamish about certain tasks.
• Adaptable, flexible, patient, reliable and self-motivated.
• Good time management and ability to work alone when needed.
• Willing to learn and operate complex processes with high quality controls.
• Able to input site performance data via a handheld device.

Responsibilities

• Ensure sites run safely, efficiently and within site specifications.
• Monitor, inspect, and maintain equipment; report defects and enable swift repairs.
• Escalate health and safety concerns as needed.
• Collate and report data to ensure compliance.
• Work 1 weekend every 6 weeks once full pattern is established.
