Job summary

Thames Water, the UK’s leading water and wastewater company, is seeking an Operations Process Technician based at Bourton-on-the-Water STW. You will join frontline operations to monitor, maintain, and optimise plant performance while adhering to high health and safety standards.

The role involves working Monday–Friday 7:30–15:36 (38 hours) with weekend work on a rota and on-call payments. Benefits include a strong pension, 24 days holiday (rising with service), and training packages.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• IT literate and able to input data on handheld devices.
• Team player with ability to work across teams.
• Good time management.
• Able to input site performance data and view day’s work on a handheld device.

Responsibilities

• Ensure sites run safely, efficiently and within permit specifications to protect the environment.
• Monitor, inspect and maintain equipment; report defects for swift repair or first-time fix where possible.
• Own health and safety; escalate concerns or resolve where possible.
• Collate and report data to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance.
• Work one weekend every 6 weeks once on full pattern.
