Job summary

The VAO will interview claimants face-to-face at Jobcentre locations, work with Jobcentre colleagues, and contribute to fraud controls across sites.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting initial and follow-up interviews for verification of documents.
• Ability to educate customers on responsibilities and consequences of non-compliance.
• Ability to collate and maintain accurate Management Information (MI).
• Willingness to travel between sites if required.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Jobcentre and Service Centre colleagues conducting initial evidence interviews and verification activities.
• Conduct robust interviews where there is a suspicion on the validity of documents produced for verification.
• Lead customer education sessions to provide clarity on customer responsibilities and consequences of non-compliance.
• Collate and maintain accurate MI as directed by analysts and performance teams.
• Provide regular feedback at office meetings on fraud trends and risk signals.
