Turning Point is seeking a First Contact Recovery Worker in Salisbury. You will be the first point of contact for people seeking support with drug and alcohol issues, delivering a welcoming, non-judgmental service and guiding them towards recovery.

The role involves completing assessments, triaging referrals, managing an assessment caseload, and connecting individuals to appropriate treatment and support services.

Qualifications

• Experience in substance misuse, mental health, housing, social care or customer service considered advantageous.
• Strong communication and listening skills with the ability to handle sensitive conversations.

Responsabilités

• Be the first point of contact for individuals seeking support with drug and alcohol issues.
• Complete assessments, triage referrals, manage an assessment caseload, and connect people with the most appropriate treatment and support services.
• Provide advice, harm reduction interventions, and ongoing guidance while working closely with clinical colleagues and partner agencies.
