Job summary

Turning Point in England is seeking a Recovery Worker to support individuals with complex mental health needs at Wood Street, a new supported living service. You will deliver person-centred recovery interventions, run group work, and help people gain skills to live independently as part of a wider team.

The role requires flexibility, empathy and strong communication, with a focus on tailoring plans and promoting long-term recovery within a 24-hour rota and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in the mental health sector is preferred and beneficial.
• Understanding of the recovery model and person-centred approaches is important.
• Solution-focused attitude and ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate with people with differing needs and complexities with empathy and patience.

Responsibilities

• Provide recovery-focused interventions through individual sessions and group work.
• Develop tailored support and risk management plans for each person.
• Support discharge planning and promote long-term recovery and independence.
• Work a 24-hour rolling rota including day, evening and waking night shifts with alternate weekends.
