Job summary

Turning Point in Bristol is seeking a Drug and Alcohol Recovery Worker within the Homelessness team. You will manage a caseload, deliver harm reduction Interventions, and work with partners to support residents facing homelessness and substance use challenges.

The role requires assessing service users, providing key working sessions, and developing risk management and care plans. A full driving licence is desirable to support outreach across sites.

Qualifications

• Experience working with homelessness or substance use is desirable.
• Ability to work in a team or independently.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Innovative and proactive approach to harm reduction.

Responsibilities

• Provide harm reduction interventions (Naloxone, needle exchange, BBV testing).
• Conduct street outreach and hostel inreach activities.
• Complete assessments, deliver key working sessions, and develop risk management and care plans.
