Turning Point UK is recruiting a Recovery Worker to join the Hinckley Team in Leicestershire. The role involves acting as a key worker for a caseload, maintaining regular client contact, and delivering psychosocial interventions while coordinating with clinical staff and partner agencies.

The ideal candidate understands substance and alcohol use, has transferable experience in health/social care, and demonstrates strong communication skills. Starting salary £25,870 with progression up to £30,265.

Formación

• Understanding of substance and alcohol use.
• Experience in health and social care or related fields is valued.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage service users.
• Willingness to work one-to-one and in group settings.

Responsabilidades

• Act as a key worker to a caseload of service users, setting goals and developing plans.
• Maintain regular contact with clients, offering information and psychosocial interventions.
• Provide assessments and risk management planning.
• Work with clinical staff on prescribing needs and partner agencies.
