Job summary

Turning Point's Bi Borough Drug & Alcohol Wellbeing Service is seeking to recruit a Peer Support Worker to help people on their recovery journeys. You will work alongside Turning Point Recovery workers to offer lived-experience guidance, practical information and compassionate support to service users navigating treatment and housing options.

Applicants should have lived experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping others.

Qualifications

• Lived experience of substance use issues preferred.
• Strong communication skills and empathy are essential.
• Ability to work with diverse service users and professionals.

Responsibilities

• Support service users to access person-centred help and housing options.
• Work alongside Recovery workers to provide advocacy and coaching.
• Maintain regular contact with clients and share information to aid recovery.
