Job summary

Thames Water is recruiting a Process Technician for Maple Lodge STW. This frontline role supports essential wastewater operations, performing planned maintenance and reactive repairs across multiple sites while ensuring safety and environmental standards are met.

The role requires a full UK driving licence and offers a 38-hour week (Mon-Fri 7:30–15:36) with standby payments and overtime potential after training. Thames Water emphasises development, inclusivity and a greener future.

Qualifications

• Be self-motivated and disciplined with a can-do attitude.
• Take ownership by diagnosing faults and resolving them promptly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team player who works well across sites and shifts.
• Willing to be trained in safety procedures and standards.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled maintenance on plant and equipment to improve resilience.
• Operate and clean plant/equipment to meet on-site safety standards.
• Attend reactive jobs following equipment failure.
• Keep sites clean and perform safety/security checks.
• Perform daily site checks to ensure compliant operation.
