Job summary

Warwickshire Police in Leamington Spa is seeking a Local Policing Resolution Centre Enquiry Officer to handle public enquiries, take initial contact via multiple channels and record incidents on Force systems. The role involves straightforward investigation of low-level non-deployable crimes and requires high standards of service and ethics.

Working full time with shift patterns, the post carries a Grade C salary (£27,204.00 - £29,859.00) plus an 11.49% weekend allowance.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs including English Language A-C grade or equivalent.
• Experience in working as part of a team in a customer service environment.

Responsibilities

• Deal with enquiries from members of the public face to face, by phone, e-mail, video call, or other electronic platforms.
• Interact professionally and courteously with the public and colleagues per the Code of Ethics.
• Provide advice, guidance and assistance to the public and front counter visitors, recording crimes on Athena.
• Apply NSIR when recording incidents and HOCR when recording crime reports.
• Record and investigate non-deployable crime and manage related tasks such as CCTV, victim statements and updating victims.
