Job summary

University of St Andrews is seeking self-motivated, customer-focused individuals for a key frontline Library team. You will be energetic, with excellent customer and IT skills, and able to work in a busy student environment.

Hours are 36.25 per week, on a Monday–Friday rota with shifts in the early morning to late evening. Start as soon as possible with access to staff benefits including a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Educated to at least Scottish Higher level.
• Previous experience in a library or customer service role is essential.
• Excellent customer skills and IT skills are requirements for this post.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline support at University Library and assist students and staff.
• Work effectively in a very active student environment with team colleagues.
• Adhere to library procedures and offer a high standard of customer service.
