Mears Housing Management is seeking a Resident Welfare Officer in Liverpool/Birkenhead to support vulnerable individuals, manage interim housing, and coordinate move-on plans. The role blends frontline support with case management in a busy, safeguarding-focused environment.

You will conduct visits, manage appointments, and coordinate access to health, finances, and support services, with travel across properties as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience in housing, support, or welfare services.
• Excellent communication with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to manage conflicting priorities.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Strong safeguarding focus.

Aufgaben

• Manage own diary and property portfolio.
• Carry out property inspections.
• Raise work orders for repairs and follow up on completed work.
• Maintain regular contact with service users through visits and calls.
• Assist with appointments, referrals, and move-on processes.
• Help service users find suitable accommodation.
• Assist with food parcels and access to essential resources.
• Incident reporting and safeguarding follow-ups.
• Clean void properties to turn around.
