Job summary

Speedy Group is seeking a Hire Controller in Hull to manage the hire process from order to delivery and collection. You will work closely with stock teams, drivers and engineers to ensure timely fulfilment and strong customer service on a 42-hour week.

The role requires strong organisational and communication skills, driving licence, and prior experience in hire or related sales/operational roles. Flexibility for a proactive, hands-on approach is valued.

Qualifications

• Adaptability and willingness to learn.
• Driving licence required.
• Experience in hire industry or similar sales/operational role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the entire hire process from taking the order through to delivery and collection.
• Liaise with all parts of the depot to meet customer needs and ensure satisfaction.
• Desk-based role with regular interaction with stock teams, drivers and engineers to minimise delays.
