Job summary

The Manchester Deansgate Hotel, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a dynamic Front Office Supervisor for a fixed-term maternity cover. You will lead the front desk team and ensure a warm, authentic Manchester welcome for every guest.

Operate check-in/check-out, coordinate duty manager shifts, coach the team, and handle guest requests with confident problem-solving. Familiarity with Opera or similar PMS is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel front office role with Opera or similar PMS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead the front office team and oversee daily operations including check-in/check-out.
• Cover duty manager shifts and follow hotel emergency procedures.
• Coach and motivate the front office staff to deliver exceptional service.
• Handle guest requests and resolve escalations to ensure memorable stays.
• Engage with guests and promote IHG One Rewards.
