Job summary

The Manchester Deansgate Hotel, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a Front Office Supervisor on a fixed-term maternity cover. This full-time role leads the front desk team, manages check-in/check-out, and ensures a warm Manchester welcome for guests.

Experience in hotel front office and familiarity with Opera or similar PMS is essential, along with prior supervisory or team-leading experience. You will cover duty manager shifts, coach staff, handle guest requests, and promote IHG One

• Experience with Opera or similar PMS is essential.
• Previous supervisory or team-leader experience preferred.
• Ability to deliver warm, authentic guest interactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the front office team and manage daily operations including check-in/out.
• Cover duty manager shifts and follow hotel emergency procedures.
• Coach and support team to deliver exceptional service.
• Handle guest requests and resolve escalated issues.
• Engage with guests and promote IHG One Rewards.
