Job summary

The Manchester Deansgate Hotel, part of InterContinental Hotels Group, is seeking a Front Office Supervisor on a full-time basis for maternity cover. You will lead the front office team, oversee check-in/check-out, and ensure guests receive a warm Manchester welcome with strong operational knowledge and PMS proficiency.

Key duties include duty manager coverage, coaching the team, resolving guest issues, engaging with guests, and promoting IHG One Rewards.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel front office role with Opera PMS knowledge.
• Previous supervisory or team leader experience is ideal.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Lead the front office team and manage daily operations.
• Cover duty manager shifts and handle hotel emergencies.
• Coach and support front office staff to deliver exceptional service.
• Handle guest requests and resolve escalations professionally.
• Engage with guests to create authentic, personalized experiences.
• Promote and recognize IHG One Rewards among guests and staff.
