Job summary

National Trust is seeking a Team Leader for our busy caf, focusing on front of house and service excellence. You will support a team, supervise induction and training, and help maintain displays and food presentation. You may assist in the kitchen at times, and you’ll use your people skills to deliver a day to remember for visitors.

No experience is required, but we’re looking for someone who is focused on great service, a team player, well-organised, and eager to lead and develop colleagues.

Qualifications

Front-of-house customer service experience welcome, but not required.

Display and sign accuracy for food presentation.
Assist kitchen team with food prep when needed.
Induction and training of new colleagues.
Commitment to allergens and food safety.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day leadership to the caf team.
Ensure consistent, high-quality service to all visitors.
Supervise induction and ongoing training of staff.
Maintain accurate displays and signage.
