The National Trust For Places of Historic Interest or Natural Beauty is seeking a Team Leader for a café environment in the East Midlands. You will guide day-to-day front-of-house service, ensuring a welcoming, high-standard guest experience and supporting a busy, bustling team.

No prior experience is required, but a focus on service, adaptability, and leadership ability will help you excel in this role. An induction on allergens/food safety is provided, with opportunities for further training.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead, support and develop a team.
• Well-organised and adaptable.
• Confident dealing with a variety of situations including complaints.
• Willing to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• As a Team Leader, you’ll be giving day-to-day support to your team, to make sure they’re consistently giving great service to everyone who comes to the café.
• Your focus will be front of house, dealing directly with people and serving food and drink.
• You’ll supervise the induction and training of colleagues to build a team dedicated to great service.
• You’ll help with displays, signs, and keeping food looking good; you may assist the kitchen team with food preparation.
• You’ll receive an induction and training in allergens and food safety, plus mentoring for your role.
