The Torridon is a luxury, independent hotel located in the North West Highlands of Scotland. We are seeking an exceptional Front of House Manager to lead our guest-facing team and ensure an outstanding guest experience from pre-arrival to post-stay follow-up.

You will oversee the full guest journey, coach and support the Front of House team, and work closely with other departments to deliver seamless, personalised stays in a world-class environment.

Qualifications

• Experienced hospitality leader with a strong understanding of luxury guest service.
• Forbes trained or equivalent credentials preferred.
• Able to lead by example and cultivate a high-performing team culture.

Job Description

We are looking for an exceptional Front of House Manager to lead our guest-facing team at The Torridon, a world-leading hotel in a place like no other. This is a key leadership role for someone who brings warmth, confidence, high standards and a genuine passion for creating outstanding guest experiences.
As Front of House Manager, you will oversee the full guest journey, from pre-arrival preparation and first impressions through to in-stay care, departures and post-stay follow-up. You will lead, coach and support the Front of House team to deliver friendly, faultless service while working closely with departments across the hotel to ensure every stay feels seamless, personal and memorable.

Qualifications

• You are an experienced hospitality leader with a strong understanding of luxury guest service and ideally Forbes trained.
• You lead by example and create a positive, professional and high-performing team culture.
• You are confident managing priorities, solving problems and making sound decisions in a busy guest-facing environment.
• You communicate clearly and respectfully with guests, team members and department leaders.
• You are highly organised, detail focused and able to maintain standards while supporting your team on the floor.
• You take pride in coaching others, giving useful feedback and helping people grow in confidence and capability.
• You bring resilience, integrity and accountability to your work and expect the same high standards from your team.
• Previous Front Office, Reception or Front of House management experience in a quality-led hotel or hospitality environment is strongly preferred.
