Job summary

Locke Hotels in Canary Wharf is seeking a friendly Front of House Assistant to join our on-site hotel team. This guest-facing role is the first contact for guests and a key part of delivering a welcoming and efficient stay.

You will greet guests, complete check-in/out using the PMS, assist with reservations and guest requests, and support lobby hosting. Experience at a hotel reception is preferred; F&B service experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel reception experience.
• Experience using PMS and POS systems.
• Experience in food and beverage services is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with warmth, authenticity, and a personalised approach.
• Complete check-in and check-out efficiently using the hotel’s PMS.
• Assist with reservations, room allocation, and guest requests.
• Provide local knowledge, recommendations, and curated lifestyle tips.
• Handle billing, payments, and procedures accurately.
• Resolve guest concerns quickly and effectively, escalating when needed.
• Support lobby hosting duties: welcoming, socialising, and maintaining presentation.
