Job summary

Locke Hotels is seeking a friendly Food & Beverage Assistant to join our on-propert y hotel team at Locke at Broken Wharf Millennium Bridge. You’ll deliver warm, seamless service across our restaurants, bars, banqueting and in-room dining, ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable experience.

This role suits individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment and are eager to learn. Previous hospitality experience is a plus, but not essential; food safety and POS familiarity are

Qualifications

• Hospitality or food & beverage experience is a plus but not required.
• Experience in hotel/restaurant/cafe/bar or customer-facing role is advantageous.
• Willingness to work weekends/public holidays and learn quickly.
• Food safety certification and cash handling/POS experience are a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Create memorable guest experiences across restaurants, bars, banqueting and in-room dining.
• Deliver warm, seamless service from welcome to payment.
• Know the menu, take orders and serve food and drinks with care.
• Maintain a clean, inviting, on-brand space.
• Handle guest queries and resolve issues confidently and positively.
• Look for opportunities to upsell and contribute to revenue growth.
• Support the team across different areas and assist with events and activations.
• Uphold brand standards, safety procedures and hotel policies.
