Job summary

The Queens Hotel in Leeds is seeking an Assistant Manager Front of House to support daily reception operations and supervise the front office in the manager's absence. You will deliver courteous, guest-focused service and uphold the highest standards of hospitality while leading a small team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Truly passionate about the Hospitality Industry.
• Previous experience as a receptionist or reception supervisor is required.
• Ability to understand guests’ needs to create exceptional service experiences.
• Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to anticipate guests’ needs.
• A strong leader capable of motivating and influencing others to work to defined procedures and standards.
• Excellent personal presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day running of the reception and supervise the department in the absence of the manager.
• Provide courteous and efficient service to all guests and maintain high standards of service.
• Greet guests warmly and act as an ambassador for excellent service.
• Lead and train colleagues, manage rotas, and support appraisals.
• Ensure smooth hand-over of day’s business with proper cashiering procedures.
• Promote company values and behaviours at all times.
