Job summary

Corps Security Ltd seeks a Front of House Security Officer to deliver a professional, customer‑focused security service across a welcoming workplace. You will monitor access, respond to incidents and emergencies, and support business continuity while presenting as a key ambassador for our client and facilities team.

Role involves maintaining secure reception areas, operating CCTV, and coordinating with building management on safety and security procedures.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus are required.
• Able to operate with deadlines, multitask and work under pressure.
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support colleagues through flexible working and cross-functional coverage during absences and peak periods.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new FOH team members when required.
• Communicate daily operational requirements and visitor schedules to relevant teams.
• Manage and monitor all access and egress points for staff, contractors, visitors and guests.
• Verify credentials, issue visitor passes and maintain visitor and access records.
• Maintain the integrity of reception and entrance areas including access control systems and security barriers.
• Monitor CCTV systems and investigate suspicious activity, incidents or unauthorised access attempts.
• Respond to security breaches, alarms, emergencies and security-related enquiries.
