Job summary

JDR Recruitment is seeking a reliable Security Officer to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the site, controlling access, monitoring activity and responding to incidents.

The role operates on a continental 4-on, 4-off shift pattern, rotating between days and nights. You will interact with visitors, contractors and drivers, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience in Front of House/Concierge or Security roles.
• Ability to stay calm and act quickly in emergencies.
• Clear communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work as part of a wider team and on your own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, drivers, contractors and customers.
• Monitoring all movement on, off and around the site.
• Maintaining safety and security of people, property and premises.
• Monitoring and reporting any suspicious or unauthorised activity.
• Responding to security incidents and emergencies as required.
• First responder to incidents such as fire, flooding and first aid situations.
• Carrying out mandatory site and facility security checks.
• Maintaining accurate records and reporting issues or incidents.
• Working with colleagues to maintain a safe and secure environment.

We are looking for a reliable and professional Security Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the safety, security and integrity of the site by controlling access on and off the premises, monitoring activity and responding appropriately to any incidents or suspicious behaviour.

You will be a key point of contact for everyone arriving at the site, including visitors, contractors, delivery drivers and customers, helping to ensure a safe, secure and welcoming environment at all times.

What will you be doing?

As a Security Officer, your responsibilities will include:

• Acting as the first point of contact for all visitors, delivery drivers, contractors and customers.
• Monitoring all movement on, off and around the site.
• Maintaining the safety and security of people, property and premises.
• Monitoring and reporting any suspicious or unauthorised activity.
• Responding appropriately to security incidents and emergency situations.
• Acting as a first respond-er to incidents such as fire, flooding and first aid situations.
• Carrying out mandatory site and facility security checks.

• Maintaining accurate records and reporting any relevant issues or incidents.
• Working closely with colleagues and other departments to maintain a safe and secure working environment.

Working hours

This role operates on a continental 4-on, 4-off shift pattern, rotating between days and nights:

• 4 days on
• 4 days off
• 4 nights on
• 4 days off

Shift times:
6:00am - 6:00pm
6:00pm - 6:00am
