Job summary

Allegis Global Solutions in Manchester is seeking a proactive Workplace Experience Ambassador to support front-of-house operations in a busy multi-tenant building.

The role focuses on delivering an exceptional workplace experience for employees, visitors and stakeholders, managing the office environment, coordinating room setups, and liaising with the landlord team. Initially offered as maternity cover, with potential to become a full-time permanent role after about 9 months.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer-facing environment.
• Experience in Reception/Front of House/Concierge/Hospitality/Facilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional, polished when interacting with senior stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and workplace systems.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of a workplace.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service to all internal and external visitors.
• Be the main point of contact for front-of-house and workplace enquiries.
• Meet and greet visitors and provide a professional first impression.
• Conduct daily workplace inspections and walkarounds.
• Ensure office areas and meeting rooms are clean and presentable.
• Coordinate meeting room, event, and workspace setups.
• Maintain room booking schedules and workplace calendars.
• Liaise daily with landlord and building management on workplace matters.
• Identify and resolve workplace issues proactively.
• Support facilities and workplace services activities and update records.
