Job summary

The Dylan Coastal Resort in Laugharne, Carmarthenshire, is seeking a Reception Supervisor to lead the desk day-to-day. You will manage the shift, supervise the team, and ensure every guest is welcomed with a smooth check-in and a spotless lodge.

This hands-on role requires being on the desk with the team, supporting, training, and maintaining a positive guest experience while coordinating with housekeeping, restaurant, and activities teams. Immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or senior reception experience in a hotel, resort or holiday park.
• Ability to manage busy check-ins/check-outs and guest enquiries.

Responsibilities

• Run the reception shift and keep desk covered.
• Train and develop the reception team.
• Create the rota with Reception Manager and cover holidays.
• Manage check-in/check-out, especially on busy days.
• Handle guest enquiries in person, by phone and email.
• Cash handling, daily banking and end-of-day reporting.
• Open and close reception with key control.
