Job summary

The Celtic Royal, a busy 110-bedroom hotel in Caernarfon, is seeking an enthusiastic Duty Manager to join our management team. You will oversee daily operations, lead teams across Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B and Maintenance, and ensure the highest standards of guest service.

This hands-on, fast-paced role requires confident leadership, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to resolving issues, maintaining safety standards, and supporting revenue management and staff development.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Duty Manager or supervisory role in a busy hotel.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make effective decisions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operation during assigned shifts.
• Lead and support teams across all departments.
• Handle guest enquiries, complaints and feedback professionally.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B and Maintenance to ensure seamless service.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Prepare operational reports and handovers for senior management.
