Job summary

PREMIER SUITES Georges Square Glasgow is seeking an experienced receptionist to warmly welcome guests, handle bookings and provide high-quality service at the Glasgow properties. The role requires a friendly, organized team player capable of multi-tasking and maintaining attention to detail in a busy hospitality environment.

Based at Georges Square, the position involves 40 hours per week across 5 days in a 9am–8pm shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service environment, preferably hotels or serviced apartments.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel; Opera Cloud or PMS experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and friendly, welcoming demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests to the property; efficient check-in/check-out and handling calls.
• Anticipating guests' needs and delivering high-quality customer service.
• Managing telephone and email enquiries and reservations promptly.
• Handling guest complaints, queries and suggestions quickly and professionally.
• Using onsite systems including Opera and RoomCloud channel manager and MS Office.
