Nuffield Health is hiring a Receptionist at Guildford Hospital to be the friendly face of the front desk. This is a permanent, full-time role at 37.5 hours per week with a 1:4 weekend rota. You’ll handle enquiries, book appointments, welcome patients and support clinical staff.

Experience in healthcare administration or reception is preferred. Strong communication, IT and keyboard skills are essential to explain information clearly and empathetically.

Responsibilities

• Help people feel comfortable when they visit your department.
• Answer the phone, deal with enquiries and book appointments.
• Welcome patients in person, directing them to the appropriate changing or waiting rooms.
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure the department runs smoothly.
• Prepare clinical paperwork, referral forms, charge sheets, and terms and conditions.
