Job summary

Primary Integrated Community Services Ltd is seeking a receptionist to join our team. Experience is preferred but training will be provided, and you will maintain a high standard of reception for visitors and patients, with NHS experience desirable.

You will respond to patient requests for appointments with clinical staff, explain practice arrangements to new patients, and use good judgment to prioritise urgent consultations in a calm, professional manner within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Experience in reception preferred but training will be provided
• NHS/clinical practice experience desirable
• Excellent communication and patient-focused approach

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient requests for appointments with clinical team members
• Explain practice arrangements and requirements to new patients and those seeking temporary cover
• Use judgment to ensure urgent cases are seen in a logical, non-disruptive manner
